Abstract
This paper discusses the implementation case of a Learning Factory in a public state university in Brazil. The context involved industrial policy requirement to quickly disseminate Industry 4.0 technologies and practices with limited resources. Operational characteristics were defined, including the product, assembly process, and technologies to be demonstrated. A partnership model was designed to secure external involvement. The paper contributes to the practice and literature by presenting an example of early steps for the implementation of a Learning Factory for Industry 4.0 in an environment with restricted resources. This experience can be adapted to other situations, particularly in developing countries.
